Privacy Policy

This policy covers Manisha YouTube Manager, a personal experimental app for the owner of the @manishaproperties YouTube channel.

Google and YouTube data

When you connect Google, the app uses the permissions you grant to read your YouTube channel, uploads, and playlists. It uses those permissions to upload videos and update playlist entries when you request an action. It displays channel details and video titles and thumbnails. The app sends video files directly from your device to YouTube and does not store copies of them.

Sign-in and storage

Regular browser sign-in uses a temporary access token. The installed app can remember your connection. The hosted service uses Vercel for delivery and Upstash Redis to store encrypted Google access and refresh tokens for that device for up to one year. The app uses a session cookie to find the saved connection. Disconnect removes that device’s saved session. You can also revoke access in your Google Account.

Optional local weather

If you grant location access, the app rounds your device coordinates and uses Open-Meteo to fetch weather and BigDataCloud to find your area name. The approximate coordinates and area name are saved on your device. You can clear them by clearing this app’s site data and manage location permission in your browser settings.

Use and sharing

Google user data is used to operate the channel management features described above. It is not sold, used for advertising, or shared for unrelated purposes. The app’s use of Google API information follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
